Guerrilla Games are moving offices and will be  growing from around 250 full time employees to over 400 people. “After Horizon Zero Dawn, we are accelerating, the best talents are coming to us, and last month we have already hired nine new people, but we also needed more space for our sound and motion tracking studios,” said CEO Hermen Hulst (via Google Translate).

Hurst went on to say that the team worked on Horizon Zero Dawn for 6.5 years and the new staff should help speed up development. “We want to release games in the two or three years, both new titles and games based on existing titles,” he added.

Wait. Games… that’s plural… and ‘based on existing titles’. Obviously one of those games is Horizon Zero Dawn 2, which means the second game could be another Killzone, that is the only other franchise Guerrilla have unless you really think there’s going to be a sequel to the awful Shellshock: Nam ’67, which was Guerrilla’s first game.

Of course Sony might be throwing them another franchise, a Guerrilla Wipeout could be interesting, or perhaps they could reboot Resistance. But hey, let’s pretend they’re making a new Killzone and then I can be happy all day.
